Meet Catherine
professional, experienced, compassionate
Hi, I'm Catherine, and I'm so happy you're here!

I have provided care for patients undergoing Bariatric Surgery for the past decade. I completed my Doctorate in Health Care Administration and am pursuing my dream of having a web-based Bariatric Education and Support practice.

I am not supplying medical or surgical care, nor will I be prescribing medications or ordering labs, x-rays, diets, or any other interventions. Members will be instructed to contact their providers if such requests are made. I do not wish to interfere in your relationship with your patients; Bari Boot Camp is here to augment your care.

My focus is unique: I want to work with people who are actively pursuing bariatric surgery in a bariatric surgery program to reinforce best practices, or who have undergone bariatric surgery but have experienced weight recurrence after Bariatric Surgery. Assisting folks in staying on track to treat and prevent significant weight recurrence is the primary mission of this web site. I want you to live your best life after surgery.

There are actions we need to take after Bariatric surgery in our everyday lives to be successful-yes, I said: "we".
I had Roux-en-Y gastric bypass almost 10 years ago, so I'm aware of the joys and challenges that Bariatric Surgery brings. I've felt-and dealt with-the struggles as well. I've been pretty successful post-surgery, even coming back from weight recurrence, by following a simple, basic plan derived from the research that encompasses self-care, self-monitoring, and following the rules that we were all taught before surgery. Those are the Bari Basics, the CORE of the Bari Lifestyle!
I want to show you this simple, safe, and proven method, full of positivity, education, support, motivation, commitment, and self-discovery. It works.

Won't you join me?
